I received an xbox 360 game from them that clearly was not new. They sold it as a new game and what they sent was an original disc that had been refurbished and put in a non-original dvd case. I complained about this. All they advised was that I send it back to them for a refund. They ignored my comments about the game not being new.
Mysteriously they never received the game even after 4 weeks and it has not been returned to me. I clearly labeled the to and from on the padded envelope. I did not have proof of postage and they are using this as an excuse. I have sent many parcels from my work address and all have been received within a day or two.

Do NOT order anything through this shabby & badly run retailer.
I ordered three compact discs on 7th December. well in time for Christmas as they were to be Xmas presents.
One turned up with a thin piece of cardboard around the disc. the following day the second arrived this time in a case. Guess what. that's right the third didn't & hasn't!
I cannot remember how many emails I've sent & apart from the first the rest have been ignored. The first advised me to wait ten working days before contacting them again. then they would contact Royal Mail to investigate.
Contact The Hut again?!! What a joke has anyone actually spoken to anyone at The Hut?? I doubt it very much. I've spent ages on hold & on numerouse occasions listening to an American lady telling me to "hold". My other emails & there's many have all been ignored.
The money for the discs came out of my account the very day of ordering. what a surprise.

The 'customer service' from this shower is diabolical. Kept waiting on hold for twenty minutes on the phone. after waiting a week without contact from them. trying to enquire as to a delivery date for a Christmas present promised "Usually dispatched within 3 days." while some irritating message plays in a really annoying American accent. (They're based in Cheshire. for Christ's sake - can't they find anyone with an English accent???) saying they were waiting for the next available assistant. Gave up in the end. Tried sending several messages.. the last one at 16:45. asked when I would be recieving it.
Cancelled the order at 17.45 when I found the same item elsewhere. Then checked this site and saw all the negative comments. Phoned my bank to make sure they didnt debit my card - only to be told they'd already requested payment within minutes of my message to them at 16:45 - obviously they were trying to make sure I didn't cancel.
Got an email within another few minutes. saying ord
